SCIF – Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
SCIF enclosures are primarily used to prevent unauthorized interception of audio waves (via ear) or radio frequency waves (via antenna), and to leave evidence of attempted and/or successful surreptitious entry into the facility. SCIF have been used for decades, and have been installed in offices and even entire buildings of United States government contractors, United States government agencies, colleges and universities involved in Research & Development programs, Information Technology (IT) firms, conference centers, and military staging units for the analysis of hostile signal intercepts, computer rooms, and law enforcement interrogation rooms. The highly classified nature of the work performed in such facilities requires that the construction be authorized/sponsored, and subsequently accredited by the cognizant United States Government agency.
Project Developers, Inc. has experienced technicians familiar with all aspects of SCIF construction at both domestic and overseas locations. Project Developers, Inc. assigns onsite SCIF experts to serve as team leaders in addition to their installation tasks. Project Developers, Inc. site managers prepare a daily review of the work and the schedule, relieving customers of the burden of day-to-day project supervision.
Since its inception in 1989, Project Developers, Inc. has designed and built more than three million square feet of SCIF and RF SCIF, both in the United States and overseas, for numerous United States government agencies, including the Earth Satellite System, Decade X-Ray, Naval Intelligence Command headquarters, the U.N.
