"Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish. Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man/woman has to be himself." ~ Francis C. Farley
Good morning, all. Interesting thought that during this season our true self shines through. We are more generous and gracious. We are grateful and appreciative of the gifts we give others and ourselves. Little gestures take on bigger meanings. Small favors are recognized and valued. Miracles are expected and accepted. The world is a gentler, kinder place--if only for moments as the joy of a child's wonder, smile, laugh fills the darkness with light--and we are reminded of what can be. We expect. We execute. We see the miracle in each of us. Now, while the glow of the season pushes through the dark of self-doubt, is when we give our dreams wings by identifying our goals (expectations) and developing a plan for their achievement (execution). Make your list and check it twice.....get out of debt, replace a bad habit with a good one, spend more time with loved ones, pursue an education, be on time or early. What's on your list? Extend the season and make that list a living, breathing validation of the spirit of the season. Carry the season so others know that Christmas lives all year!
I will be in the office for a few hours later this morning. Hoping to see as many of you as can come tomorrow for lunch before we head our separate ways for the holidays.

May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace...The gladness of Christmas give you hope...The warmth of Christmas grant you love. ~ Author Unknown All, These are not my words, but express what I believe to be true.
Over the years I have found that the most successful people in the world are men and women of FAITH. They instinctively BELIEVE that the future will be better than the past, and they have the faith in themselves to take the actions necessary to make it so. All successful people face challenging times. All successful people keep HOPE alive during these times. It is their prime duty. For themselves, their families, their organizations. Personally, I define success as having the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I have done the very best that is within me. This too is a trait of the winners in the world: They have few regrets about this, that and everything else in the past... and are at PEACE with themselves. They know they gave it their all.
"If a man/women does his best, what more is there?" ~ General George F. Patton All successful people LOVE what they do. They have the burning desire to face the challenges and create a future worth living in. They are consumed with the desire to serve others... to make life just a little better for everyone... not just themselves.
Peace. Hope. Love.
In a way, successful people keep Christmas alive in their hearts and minds all year long. They hope... they love... and they find true peace. Become The Miracle of Christmas...The wonder of life surrounds you. You can become all that you dream. Let the Miracle of Christmas find you. Become the Miracle.

People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defences, or the problems of modern society." ~ Vince Lombardi |

"We all have ability. The difference is how we use it." ~ Stevie Wonder Morning, all. What are your special talents and abilities? Are you athletic, analytical, compassionate, musical, whimsical? Do others rely on your judgment, your discretion, your persistence, your dedication or your ability to make lemonade from lemons? Whatever special gifts and talents you have, develop and revel in them. In your own way, you will and have made a mark on the world. You may not win a Grammy, an Oscar, a Super Bowl ring, a Rhodes scholarship, but you are just as important to yourself and the others who make up your world. Expect and execute-make the most of the talents you have and even stretch to develop those talents you may envy in others. Walk tall and proud. You are important and you make a difference!
I don't expect to be in the office today, but should be available as needed by email or phone. Have a great day--each of you deserve it!

None of us will ever accomplish anything excellent or commanding except when he listens to this whisper which is heard by him alone. -Ralph Waldo Emerson Good morning, all. Emerson is one of my favorite poets and this quote is one of my favorites. It is appropriate to remind ourselves of the magic and power of that 'still small voice' that whispers in our hearts and heads. It is the Jiminy Cricket, the conscience, the voice of knowing what we can and should do. It empowers our expectations with exhaltation of execution. In this season of lights and miracles, we should stop long enough to heed its messages. Never sell yourself short; don't settle. You are most able.
Today I will be taking Dominick to the cardiologist for a check up, then to the airport to pick up my Mother and her husband who are coming in to help celebrate my birthday. I may slide in and out of the office between, but will primarily be unavailable for the day. Have a great day and accept only the best of yourself today!
